-In recent years, technology for storing a preliminary power or a surplus of photovoltaic energy is required. This technique, as well as store a preliminary energy and improve the reliability of the gird safety. This system can plan a efficient power generation through the flexibility of the power supply from the perspective of not only provider but also user. Accordingly, the realization of the smart grid can be expected. This paper proposes a hybrid PCS using a photovoltaic and a lithium-polymer battery with the characteristics of high density energy. The main energy source of a hybrid PCS is a photovoltaic, grid and the auxiliary energy source is a lithium-polymer battery. The operation of a proposed system in this paper is verified with simulation and experimental results.
The digital impression technique has been developed for more precise restorations and convenient procedures in prosthodontic treatment compared to the conventional impression technique. Along with the utilization of CAD/CAM, the introduction of digital impression technique actualizes the digitalization of dental treatments. This case is to compare two different prostheses introducing each procedure in detail; one from CAD/CAM after taking digital impression and the other from the conventional technique. A 22year-old female visited the clinic with the chief complaint of correction of discoloration and shape on maxillary right central incisor. Due to the trauma 8 years ago, the tooth was endodontically treated with post and resin core. The treatment was planned and the procedures were conducted under the patient's consent to treat the tooth with all ceramic crowns in two different ways for comparison. In conclusion, both prostheses presented clinically acceptable results with comparing the internal fitness of two all ceramic crowns. The prosthesis from digital impression, however, showed more errors in respect of internal fitness. (J Korean Acad Prosthodont 2011;49:263-9)
The purpose of this study is to investigate the improvement measure of dental technicians practical examination system. Methods: The subjects in this study were 290 dental technicians who were self-written questionnaire. The results were analyzed by SPSS 16.0. The collected data was analyzed by frequency and chi-square test. Results: Dental technician practical exam feasibility of survey were largely negative views. Articulators work required in practical exam as a tool used (28.7%), electric wax carver (19.5%), heating clear (17.8%), handpiece (16.2%) had a response. Dental Technician positions in accordance with practical exam in comparison to satisfaction, the professor is satisfied, but the clinical dental technicians were generally dissatisfied (p<0.05). Conclusion: Based on the results of this study, Current is necessary to analyze the practical test. It also should be compared with foreign institutions. Long-term and short-term improvement examination system that can be applied to the improvement of the dental technician to draw practical test it is necessary to improve the system.
