With the reinforcement in patient's rights and safety, simulation-based learning is getting popular in nursing education. Therefore, The purpose of this study was to identify the outcomes and satisfaction of simulation-based learning in nursing on patient with UGI bleeding. Participants of this study were 77 second year nursing students who never experienced simulation-based learning. The collected data was analyzed by using SPSS Statistics 18.0. Frequencies, % for general characteristics and satisfaction in simulation, and paired t-test for learning outcomes in simulation were used. Confidence on clinical performance, satisfaction in simulation significantly increased by simulation-based learning. The applying the simulation-based learning is a practical alternative to patient safety and nursing students were satisfied. Well trained and educated instructors are the first line rather than facilities for the quality of learning.
This study was done to compare consciousness of biomedical ethics in nursing and general students.Participants were 382 nursing and general students at a college in S city. Mean score of consciousness of biomedical ethics(range:1∼4) in nursing students was 3.04 and general students, 3.12. Thus, mean score of consciousness of biomedical ethics of two group were above the average and general students significantly higher than nursing students. Life-respect consciousness, perceived ethical values in nursing students were shown as significant predictors on consciousness of biomedical ethics and life-respect consciousness, sexual attitude, value regarding child rearing in general students. The most influential predictor of two groups was life-respect consciousness. To establish desirable biomedical ethics of nursing students, it is necessary that subjects related to biomedical ethics should be mandatory, and it is necessary to raise the proportion of credit for the curriculum.

Method: This used a total of 85 samples with an experimental group and a control group and pre-and post-testing. The samples comprised of 85 third-year nursing students enrolled in the BSN program were divided into an experimental group (n=45) from college J and an control group (n=40) from college K. Results: The experimental group of students who attended a convergence multicultural nursing education program increased the level of cultural competence and empathy significantly. But the control group of students who did not receive multicultural nursing education program had no significant increase. Conclusion: The study proves that a convergence multicultural nursing education program has a positive impact on the improvement of cultural competence and empathy for nursing students.
