Abstract:Intense interval exercise training has been shown to improve performance and health of untrained and trained people. However, due to the exercise intensity causing high‐perceived exertion, the participants often do not wish to continue the training. The 10‐20‐30 training concept consists of low intensity for 30 s, 20 s at a moderate pace, and then 10 s with high intensity either running or cycling.
