Abstract: OBJECTIVE: The prevalent use of e-cigarettes and other nicotine products are increasing among women of reproductive age, making their effect on pregnancy an important public health concern. Nicotine is associated with adverse effects on the fetus including reduced placental blood perfusion and decreased fetal pulmonary function.
