Abstract:Narrow linewidth lasers with kHz or Hz have attracted tremendous attention due to their versatile applications in optical fiber sensing and optical fiber communication fields. This is because the efficiency of these fields depends on the quality of the laser source employed. This paper proposes, simulates, and experimentally demonstrates a dual cavity fiber Bragg grating assisted feedback structure. Based on the Rayleigh backscattering mechanism, Vernier effect, and interference phenomenon, the 2 MHz linewidth… Show more
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
