17.2: Large‐scale Color Omnidirectional‐view Three‐dimensional Display Based on Projector Array

Abstract: Combining the characteristic of autostereoscopic and volumetric displays, large-scale omnidirectional-view three-dimensional (3D) display utilizes projector array and cylindrical selective-diffusing screen to reconstruct 3D light field. Large-scale color omnidirectional-view 3D display without any mechanical moving component is implemented. This paper presents principle of this method and analyzes display characteristics.
