Abstract:We introduce UTG cover window with spatially selective glasscloth reinforced siloxane hybrid composite. Various compositions of siloxane hybrid materials were applied with their refractive index precisely controlled to result in a highly transparent composite. The composite UTG cover window shows excellent foldability (1.5mm radius 200K cycle) regardless of the siloxane resin type. Also, the impact resistance was superior to typical protective PET film based UTG cover window.
