19‐2: A Novel 3D Floating Image for Human‐Machine Interfaces and Its Application

Abstract

Recently, coronavirus disease (COVID‐19) has caused massive loss of human life and property worldwide. Many people are devoting a lot of effort in doing research to effectively block the route of infection. For this reason, we developed a novel noncontact human‐machine interfaces (HMIs) that integrate light field technology and non‐contacting touch sensing to apply the commonly public facilities. Moreover, the methodology of lightfield technology which provided the 3D floating image, multiple perspectives, and naked‐eyes type is also introduced.
