223 Multiple ovulation and embryo harvest in relation to energy balance in Latvian native cow breeds

Abstract: The numbers of animals of two Latvian native cow breeds are very limited because almost all cows intended to be donor cows were used to acquire embryos. Most of these cows were kept on small private farms by local farmers. Many were at an advanced age and did not meet the necessary requirements to be a good embryo donor.
