Abstract:The article is dedicated to reviewing the role of the 4D FLOW technique in assessing blood flow in the aorta. A brief historical and terminological overview is provided, along with a description of the current state of the issue. The clinical relevance and appropriateness of using this radiological diagnostic method are discussed. The scanning and image post-processing process is summarized. Finally, the prospects and significance of the reviewed technique in healthcare are outlined.
