50.4: Perception Optimized Signal Scaling for OLED Power Saving
Abstract: In this paper, we propose Perception Optimized Signal Scaling (POSS) method to jointly reduce panel power consumption and keep visual perception of images to be displayed. The method may be used for displays without backlight, for example, OLED panels.
