680: Reduction in cesarean delivery rate after obstetric care consensus guideline implementation in an expanded cohort

Abstract: with NE. These findings remained when the cases were limited to NE with arterial cord pH <7.1. CONCLUSION: Category III tracings, while infrequent, are not uncommon in labor among fetuses who develop NE. Whereas category II FHR is not independently associated with NE, individual FHR characteristics are associated. This study provides important empirical evidence underscoring the validity of employing FHR discriminators in the management of category II tracings during labor.
