Abstract:Purpose
Gallium-68 (68Ga)-labeled fibroblast-activation protein inhibitor (FAPI) is a novel tracer that binds fibroblast-activation protein (FAP), which is overexpressed in colorectal cancers with a prominent stroma including cancer-associated fibroblasts (CAFs). The present study aimed to compare the diagnostic performance of 68Ga-FAPI positron emission tomography (PET)/computed tomography (CT) with that of fluorine-18 (18F)-fluorodeoxyglucose (FDG) PET/CT in primary and metastatic colorectal cancer lesions.… Show more
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
