83. New Trends in the Field of Automobile Air Conditioning

Abstract: This article presents new trends in the area of automobile air conditioning, which is fast becoming standard equipment. Attention is focused on the refrigerant and ventilation circuit of the air conditioning equipment, and on the control system. An analysis is presented here of a commonly used contemporary refrigeration system working with the refrigerant R134a and a promising transcritical refrigeration system using CO 2 as a refrigerant. The article also deals with the configuration of some components of a t… Show more

“…After finding its way through expansion "valve" it finally passes on to "evaporator" where it extracts heat from the surroundings or circulating fluid being refrigerated and vaporises to low pressure vapour [10]. Javotkova and Pavelek [11] described the alternate trends in the field of automobile air conditioning, the study was focused on the refrigerant, ventilation, and types of control system installed in the A/C system for internal combustion engines. An assessment was conducted about the most widely used contemporary refrigeration system working with the refrigerant R134a and a promising transcritical refrigeration system employing refrigerant CO2 as its working medium.…”

“…The main purposes of the use of vehicle air conditioning systems can be listed as heating, cooling and dehumidification processes. Vehicle air conditioning systems basically operate on a vapor compression refrigeration cycle [18]. An ideal vehicle air conditioning (AAC) system provides the appropriate temperature and humidity for human comfort [19].…”

“…The t-statistics (t T ) was first calculated using Equation (3) and the components of the equation were gotten from Equations (4) and(5). The pair t-test was used because of the related samples and small sample size in line with the literature[10].…”
