Abstract:Single cell RNA sequencing (scRNA-seq) has been recently developed to study the gene expression profile of individual cells. This high-resolution transcriptomic analysis is enabling deep insights into biological systems and disease mechanisms. Multiple techniques have been used to capture single cells, including microfluidics platforms, microtiter plates, and droplet-based technologies. These are followed by cell lysis and reverse-transcription (RT) of RNA from the individual cells. Barcoded and multiplexed cD… Show more
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
