9G DNAChip: a platform for the efficient detection of proteins

Abstract: According to the proposed DAGON method, the CRP and PSA antigens with the concentrations of 1 pg ml(-1) to 10 pg ml(-1) range can be easily differentiated in the buffer matrix. Moreover, it is for the first time that the multiple antigens with the concentrations of 1 pg ml(-1) and 0.1 pg ml(-1) can be detected in the mixture of the proteins without an amplification technique.

“…The multiply infected samples were found to have only two genotypes in the HPV 9G DNA chip test, which is quite unusual, but it is due to the primer set used in this study, which is well known to express two major genotypes in multiply infected samples (18). The HPV 9G DNA chip test has proven that the preliminary findings of cervical cytology of HPV-infected samples may lead to the false detection of HPV.…”

“…Recently reported 9G (GGGGGGGGG) DNA chips based on 9G DNA chip technology show high SBR (PMT gain ϭ 48%) and 100% target-specific hybridization, with more than 90% hybridization efficiency at 25°C in 30 min (17,18 …”

“…According to the recently reported DNA-Guided Detection (DAGON) method [ 116 ] based on 9G technology, antigens with concentrations in the 1 pg/mL to 10 pg/mL range can be easily differentiated. The major difference between the DAGON and other methods is that the antigen–antibody biomolecular complexes are allowed to form in the solution.…”

“…[16][17][18][19] The amount of CIC in a lung cancer sample was determined by using the in-house sandwich immunoassay based on a 9G DNAChip 19 and a DAGON method. 20 The lung cancer sample was found to contain 5.0 ng mL À1 CIC (Fig. S1, ESI †) and was used as a standard sample for the development of CIC and the detection method.…”
