Abstract: Today, outpatient surgery rates are increasing due to high hospital costs, and home going catheters provide excellent pain control for orthopedic and traumatology patients. Peripheral nerve catheters are usually removed 2-5 days postoperatively and are assumed to be easy and painless with a short training for ambulatory patients.
