A behaviour evaluation of network traffic in a power substation concerning GOOSE messages

Abstract: This paper investigates the influence of a Denial of Service (DoS) overload on the transfer time of GOOSE (Generic Object Oriented Substation Event) messages. This paper was conducted based on a testbed set up in order to carry out the experiments that evaluate the behaviour of transfer time of GOOSE messages during IED's bandwidth occupation.
