A Bilateral Lumbar Multidermatomal Herpes Zoster in an Elderly Woman with Chronic Kidney Disease

Abstract: Herpes zoster (HZ) is a painful rash caused by the reactivation of the varicella-zoster virus (VZV) permanently latent within the cranial or dorsal root ganglia. Usually the rash presents in only one side of the body, in a single dermatome or restricted to a part of it.
