Abstract:Modern chromatography is mostly used for analytical purposes. Modern pharmaceutical and biological analysis uses HPLC. It separates molecules from heterogeneous liquids and characterizes them. Mass spectrometry identifies peptides, proteins, and other compounds after high-performance liquid chromatography.
