Abstract:Inflammatory myofibroblastic tumor (IMT) is a rare proliferative lesion also referred to as an inflammatory pseudotumor, among a number of other pseudonyms. IMTs are comprised of variable amounts of spindle cells, collagen, and inflammatory cells, including plasma cells, foamy histiocytes, and lymphocytes.
