Abstract: Pulmonary hypertension (PH) encompasses several heterogeneous groups of multiple diseases characterized by abnormal pulmonary arterial blood pressure elevation. Unrepaired atrial septal defect (ASD) may be associated with pulmonary arterial hypertension (PAH), indicating pulmonary vascular remodeling.
