Abstract:Introduction: Primary parotid squamous cell carcinoma (PPSCC) is a rare malignant epithelial tumor originating in the parotid gland with complex diagnostic procedures and a poor prognosis. The etiology, tissue origin, and biological behavior of the disease are currently unknown due to its underreporting. It is crucial to differentiate this type of squamous cell carcinoma (SCC) of the parotid gland from other salivary gland tumors because of its widespread invasiveness, which leads to high mortality.
