Abstract:A 97-year-old man with loss of consciousness was referred to our hospital.Three-dimensional computed tomography showed a ruptured left popliteal artery aneurysm (PAA). To save his life, an emergency operation was performed. This case treated with ePTFE graft replacement with resection of the PAA. The postoperative course was uneventful. He was the oldest among the reported cases of successful surgical repair of ruptured popliteal artery aneurysm in Japan.
