A case report on Protein Losing Enteropathy and its therapeutic management in a dog

Abstract: A male German shepherd dog of age 2½years was presented at Teaching Veterinary Clinical Complex (TVCC) College of Veterinary Science, Assam Agricultural University, Khanapara, Guwahati with a complaint of anorexia, vomiting, pronounced muscle wasting, lethargy and profuse watery diarrhoea. Based on the clinical examinations and haemato-biochemical profile it was diagnosed as Protein losing enteropathy (PLE).
