Abstract:The ectopic pregnancy occurs when implantation of the blastocyst takes place in a site other than the endometrium of the uterine cavity. Interstitial ectopic pregnancies are gestations that implant within the proximal, intramural portion of the fallopian tubes with high vascularity.
