Abstract:Prostate-specific membrane antigen (PSMA) is a widely accepted and used tracer in staging and biochemical recurrences of prostate cancer. PSMA is extensively expressed in normal prostatic epithelial cells and prostate cancer cells, with some amount of expression also in nonprostatic cells.
