Abstract: A case of a 72-year-old Korean male with herpes zoster ophthalmicus revealed. He was treated with Korean-Western cooperative treatment. We used the Numeric Rating Scale (NRS) to evaluate forehead and eye pain. Pain was improved after the administration of Korean medical treatments and disappeared after eight days. Korean-Western cooperative treatment may be effective in treating acute herpes zoster ophthalmicus.
