Abstract:This paper proposes a novel sliding mode filter, which improves Emaru et al.’s filter. Compared to previous filters, the proposed filter has a faster response speed without sacrificing filtering performance, and the output signals do not experience chattering. Specifically, the proposed filter introduces feedforward compensation as an acceleration factor, enabling the system state to accelerate convergence without affecting the noise attenuation ability. Secondly, the discrete-time algorithm of the proposed fi… Show more

scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
