A clustering technique for digital communications channel equalization using radial basis function networks

Abstract: Abstruct-The paper investigates the application of a radial basis function network to digital communications channel equalization. It is shown that the radial basis function network has an identical structure to the optimal Bayesian symbol-decision equalizer solution and, therefore, can be employed to implement the Bayesian equalizer. The training of a radial basis function network to realize the Bayesian equalization solution can be achieved efficiently using a simple and robust supervised clustering algorith… Show more

“…The authors have made multi degree of freedom motor (translational and rotational motion in one joint, TR motor) by ultrasonic technology [1][2][3]. This motor has attractive features, that is, TR movements independently or simultaneously, easy to make a micro motor and high controllability.…”

“…Some researchers make a hypothesis that the spliced region which does not originally belong to the picture will be altered in terms of dimensions, shape, color or illumination in order to fit the host picture. Mahdian et al [1] noticed that interpolated signals and their derivatives contain specific detectable periodic properties. And geometric transformations, such as scaling, rotation or skewing of spliced objects involve resampling and interpolation steps.…”

“…However, the study of the aspect is not so much, of which the relevant theoretical basis is still relatively weak, even is very difficult [1], [2]. Therefore, the impact study on the large-scale crowd evacuation when there's an emergency event in urban underground passages, so as to improve the ability of the crowd evacuation, has become a key subject that can make a far-reaching implication on the urban safety and social stability [3], [4].…”
