Abstract:Texture evolution of NiTi shape memory alloy was investigated during uniaxial compression deformation at 673 K (400 • C) by combining crystal plasticity finite element method with electron back-scattered diffraction experiment and transmission electron microscope experiment. Transmission electron microscope observation indicates that dislocation slip rather than deformation twinning plays a dominant role in plastic deformation of B2 austenite NiTi shape memory alloy at 673 K (400 • C). Electron back-scattered … Show more
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
