A combined model for PV system lifetime energy prediction and annual energy assessment

Abstract: A key aspect for high photovoltaic (PV) system penetration is financial viability, the assessment of which is dependent on a reliable prediction of the lifetime energy output of the system. For installation in a particular location, the lifetime energy prediction depends on a range of parameters, including system design, system technology and the prevailing climatic conditions. It is also important to consider how the system losses vary with time and any degradation of system components. A variety of aspects c… Show more

“…However, in the weight result calculated by the least square method, the weight of the binary logit model is negative, which does not conform to the actual situation. Therefore, the weighting method under the condition that the constraint weight is positive should be considered to weight the model to find the local optimal model [27].…”

“…Therefore, the decoupling component commonly used is an electrolytic capacitor, which reduces the lifetime of the system but is necessary to conserve energy. This point is critical because the application is generally used for power decoupling, a bulky and low reliable electrolytic capacitor, which considerably reduces the lifetime of the application [17].…”

“…Among these resources, the capital invested in the acquisition of photovoltaic modules, the disparity in the value of the kilowatt-hour (kWh) paid to electrical energy concessionaires, and the characteristics of photovoltaic solar energy production stand out. These combined uncertainties limit the accuracy of economic analysis results by traditional methods [24][25][26][27][28][29].…”
