A Comparative Review on Routing Protocols in Wireless Sensor Networks

Abstract: Wireless Networking is a technology in which number of mobile nodes can communicate with each other directly or indirectly through wireless links. A sensor network is composed of a large number of sensor nodes and a sink. In the wireless sensor networks the main problem is limited battery life used by sensor nodes because the size of sensor nodes is small so constraints are there like battery size, processor, storage for data, these all are small as sensor nodes Routing protocols of sensor networks are dependa… Show more

“…Adaptation to non-critical failure in WSNs can be grouped into four levels from system perspective. These are: hardware layer, programming layer, networking layer and application layer [5]. Generally, the error area plot requires certain measure of overhead in term of additional bits which are added to the total transmitted data.…”

“…Agent software has continued to attract significant research attention due to their intelligence, mobility and collaborative nature. Agent-based systems play variety of roles in the development of various essential industrial applications [5]. However, there is high need of agents in processing as a result of quick advancement in computing and information organizing innovation to help those requirements, and blast in the assortment of hardware and systems.…”

“…Comparison of various routing protocols has been discussed by the author. [22] Analysis of LEACH and Improved Leach Protocol in Wireless Sensor Network was proposed by Harpreet k. et al; [2017]. In this paper author objective was to investigate and find insight into the effect of using the Leach and Leach-C protocol, energy effective for the wireless sensor network.…”

“…This is because in proposed algorithm only neighbors are engaged in relocation. As it is proven that reducing the number of messages during the operation of the protocol leads to achieving energy efficiency [5], therefore DEENR algorithm proves to be energy efficient as well as more scalable as compared to the baseline protocols. In comparison with the baseline protocols, there is a substantial difference in terms of total number of packets exchanged.…”
