Abstract:Article informationBackground: The routine uses of intraoperative cholangiography [IOC] is still controversial. Some authors support routine IOC, while others favor selective IOC. The operative ultrasonography [OUS] probe provides a new modality for evaluating biliary anatomy and detection of Choledocholithiasis during laparoscopic cholecystectomy.
