Abstract: INTRODUCTION Abdominal hysterectomy (AH) is a quite common gynaecological surgical procedure and electively done under central neuraxial blockade. AH is performed for malignant as well as benign indications such as uterine leiomyoma, persistent vaginal bleeding, or pelvic organ prolapse.
