A Comparative Study of Efficacy of Dipsi and O’sullivan's Method of Screening for Gestational Diabetes Mellitus

Abstract

BACKGROUNDThe incidence of GDM is higher in India -10-17.8%. GDM has adverse outcomes of pregnancy and long term risk to mother and offspring which warrants an effective screening and diagnostic test for GDM. All complications of GDM are potentially preventable. This study compares the efficacy of DIPSI (Diabetes in Pregnancy Study Group India) with O'Sullivan's method in the screening of Gestational diabetes mellitus.
