A comparative study of the evolution of microsporogenesis between normal and « corolla-tip » anthers of the « blind » mutant of Petunia hybrida (Wilm)

Abstract: The authors have compared microsporogenesis in normal anthers of the "blind" mutant with that observed in "corolla-tip" anthers. A correlation was found between flower bud size and the stage of microsporogenesis in the two anther types and the course of the microsporogenesis was not identical.
