A comparative study on anxiety levels between patients undergoing dental extraction for the first time and for the second time- A split mouth study

Abstract: Objective: This study aimed to determine and assess dental anxiety in a group of Pondicherry patients who were having a tooth extracted at the Oral Surgery department. Methods: The study included 23 patients who were chosen at random from the department of oral surgery's outpatient clinic. The patients' anxiety levels were measured using Corah's Dental Anxiety Scale (DAS).
