Abstract: The aim of this study was to compare ischemic preconditioning (IPC) with two established methods of myocardial protection, namely cold crystalloid cardioplegia and intermittent cross-clamp fibrillation (ICCF), in coronary artery bypass graft (CABG) surgery.
