“…Figure 11 illustrates the variation of dynamic viscosity of pure IL+water solutions and its nanofluids for different concentrations of Ti 3 C 2 nanosheet in the temperature range from 25 °C to 60 °C. The viscosity of the pure IL+ water is lower than that of pure IL as less viscous water is added to IL [ 79 ]. It is obvious from the graph that the dynamic viscosity of the IL+ water solution increases from 2.694 mPa.s to 2.986 mPa.s when Ti 3 C 2 nanosheets are added by 0.05 wt % while for 0.10 wt % and 0.20 wt % nanofluids, the viscosity further increases to 3.011 mPa.s and 3.066 mPa.s respectively.…”

“…Shear flow behavior of NADES Flowability of NADES under varied shear rates depend on the apparent viscosity indicating their expected field of application and uses (Elhamarnah et al 2019). The flow behavior of NADES at room temperature has advantages over traditional solvents, so that they can be more easily used and operated in different industrial conditions (Troter et al 2016;Paiva, Matias, and Duarte 2018).…”

“…Some of the authors reported NADES as non-Newtonian liquids, exhibiting sheer-thickening or sheer-thinning behavior depending on the imposed shear rate (Altamash et al 2017;. However, NADES may behave as Newtonian fluids as well, independently of shear rate (Elhamarnah et al 2019;R€ uther et al 2013;Cao et al 2016;Aroso et al 2017). Troter et al (2016) reported a shear-thinning behavior of citric acid:glucose and choline chloride:citric acid at 1:1 molar ratios in the temperature range of 293.15-363.15 K at atmospheric pressure within the shear rate of 0.1-1000 s À1 .…”

“…DES have recently been reflected as alternatives to IL that maintain most of their advantages (e.g. task-purpose tenability) and on the top of that avoid some of the major issues of IL such as economic and environmental concerns [31,32,33,34,35,36]. The synthesis of DES via low-cost sources including natural HBA and HBD, predictable and almost null toxicity and total biodegradability have made both industry and academia consider DES as alternative solvents for gas capture and separation processes in within the green chemistry framework.…”
