This paper proposed a unified active power optimization control of wind farms under wake effect. It takes the sum of the kinetic energy variation and pitch angle variation as the optimization objective and used the particle swarm algorithm to achieve the optimization results. The main feature of the proposed method is that it unifies the kinetic energy optimization under a low wind speed area, the pitch angle and kinetic energy trade-off optimization under a medium wind speed area, and the pitch angle optimization under a high wind speed area. Combined with the de-loaded power constraint, it can flexibly reach various optimal operating states of the wind farm. The simulation results show that the proposed method optimizes the rotor speed and pitch angle in different wind speed areas, and releases kinetic energy and/or increases the output power of the wind farm to provide frequency support by switching the operating states.

Optimization of Bulk Heterojunction Photovoltaic Structures with Heterocyclic Derivatives

Photovoltaic structures of the bulk heterojunction type were fabricated, in which derivatives of N,N-diethylamine-3-Methyl-1-Phenyl-1H-pyrazolo[3,4-b]quinoxalines were used as the active layer. The compounds differed in the position of the electron-donating substituent in the carbocyclic ring. Four isomers were subjected to UV-Vis spectrophotometric measurements in solvents of different polarities. The absorption characteristics were experimentally determined for the tested derivatives. The values of HOMO-LUMO levels were determined by means of quantum chemical calculations using the HyperChem software. The current–voltage and dispersion characteristics of the produced OPV were determined. The spectral characteristics of the refractive indices and extinction coefficients of the active layers were determined using the spectroscopic ellipsometry method. These results were used in the analysis and optimization of photovoltaic structures. It was shown that the location of the N,N-diethylamine substituent affects the photophysical properties of the structure and the photovoltaic properties. The optimization of the OPV_2 photovoltaic structure using the coherent model and the 2 × 2 matrix method can be successfully used in modeling optical multilayer structures, including photovoltaic structures.

Encapsulating Fe3C in carbon layers has emerged as an innovative strategy for protecting Fe3C while preserving its high oxygen reduction activity. However, fundamental questions persist regarding the active sites of encapsulated Fe3C due to the restricted accessibility of oxygen molecules to the metal sites. Herein, the intrinsic electron transfer mechanisms of Fe3C nanoparticles encapsulated in N‐doped carbon materials are unveiled for oxygen reduction electrocatalysis. The precision‐structured C1N1 material is used to synthesize N‐doped carbons with encapsulated Fe3C, significantly enhancing catalytic activity (EONSET = 0.98 V) and achieving near‐100% operational stability. In anion‐exchange membrane fuel cells, an excellent peak power density of 830 mW cm−2 is reached at 60 °C. The experimental and computational results revealed that the presence of Fe3C cores dynamically triggers electron transfer to the outermost carbon layer. This phenomenon amplifies the oxygen reduction reaction performance at N sites, contributing significantly to the observed catalytic enhancement.
