A content analysis of the future of tourism through the presidential state of the nation address in the Philippines (1987-2019)

Abstract: Purpose This study aims to examine the underlying statements with regard to strategic directions and action programmes on tourism found in the state-of-the-nation address (SONA) speeches of six Philippine presidents – from 1987 to 2019.
