A Cosmological Model with Negative Constant Deceleration Parameter in a Scalar-Tensor Theory

Abstract: With the help of a special law of variation for Hubble's parameter presented by Bermann [Nuovo Cimento B (1983), 74, 182], a cosmological model with negative constant deceleration parameter is obtained in the framework of Saez-Ballester [Phys. Lett (1985), Al 13, 467] scalartensor theory of gravitation. Some physical and kinematical properties of the model are, also, discussed.

“…Singh and Beesham [7] studied the effect of bulk viscosity on the evolution of the spatially flat FriedmannLemaitre-Robertson-Walker models in the context of open thermodynamical systems, which allow for particle creation, analyzed within the framework of BD theory. Reddy et al [8] discussed the homogeneous axially symmetric Bianchi type-I radiating cosmological model with negative constant deceleration parameter in BD scalar-tensor theory gravitation. Spatially homogeneous and anisotropic Bianchi type-I (BI) model is used to study the possible effects of anisotropy in the early universe [9,10].…”

“…The theory of constant deceleration parameter in FRW model have been further studied by several authors [38][39][40]. Rahaman et al [41] and Reddy et al [13] have studied LRS Bianchi type -I models with negative deceleration parameter. In a series of recent papers, Singh and Kumar [42][43][44] and Kumar and Singh [45,46] have extended the work to anisotropic Bianchi type -I and II cosmological models and obtained the solutions of field equations in general relativity and some scalar tensor theories.…”
