A Data-Driven Analysis on Sustainable Energy Security

Abstract: This study provides a data-driven analysis that illustrates a clear renewable energy depiction in sustainable energy security and unveils the regional issues due to the literature solely occupies energy security concept in the descriptions view, and renewable energy differences related to regions are rarely discussed. A hybrid method is proposed to valid those indicators and shows the trend of future studies. This study enriches the challenges and opportunities by contributing to understand the fundamental kno… Show more

“…Energy demand is a huge source of carbon emissions. Regarding sustainable development, fossil fuel isn't a wise choice [60]. The result suggests that the energy industry has the most enormous carbon emission reduction potential (12.2 GtCO 2 e by 2030), approximately one-third of the global total reduction potential.…”

“…An increasing number of nations have been actively engaged in prioritizing sustainable development alongside economic growth (Cheng et al, 2022;He et al, 2022). Safeguarding the environment through sustainability encompasses targeted actions including the responsible stewardship of natural resources Sun et al, 2022), waste reduction (Sharma et al, 2020), mitigation of air pollution (Lin & Li, 2022;Yu et al, 2022), the preservation of biodiversity (Mittermeier et al, 2021), and the advancement of renewable energy utilization (Bui & Tseng, 2022;Zhu et al, 2022). These efforts collectively alleviate the negative impact of human activities on the environment, fostering an environmental self-regeneration and ensuring a sustainable future (Nunes et al, 2021;Uniyal et al, 2021;Zhou et al, 2022).…”
