A digital image watermarking method based on host image analysis and genetic algorithm

Abstract: This paper mainly comes up with a new watermarking method based on host image analysis and genetic algorithm. Through the characteristics of human visual system, the host image analysis can ensure the imperceptibility. It greatly enhance the embedding capacity of the watermark under the same visual effect, which can embed more watermark in the host image. The genetic algorithm is used in embedding process. It can not only improve the image quality, but also enhance the security and robustness of the watermarke… Show more

“…The detailed display of the solid models is insufficient to display the design scheme unilaterally. The emergence of VR technology has created a new method of visual design [17][18]. Based on the underwater function of VR technology, users and designers can experience the building from the original perspective before the building is completed, so it can more intuitively display the building space that the previous two-dimensional map cannot understand.…”

“…It was tested under Gaussian noise attack in the density of 0.001, median filter (MF) (3×3), and JPEG compression with the quality factor (QF=60). Table .11 summarizes the obtained results of the comparison of NC value between the proposed scheme and the schemes proposed by Han et al (2016) and Kang et al (2020) as follows: 2020) with the tested images (Lena, Mandrill and Airplane) under Gaussian noise attack in the density of 0.001, median filter (MF) (3×3), and JPEG compression by the quality factor (QF=60). As for the image Barbara, the scheme presented by Kang et al (2020) outperformed the other schemes under all tested attacks.…”

“…This method realizes good data payload and imperceptibility, but does not provide a good robustness. Han et al [31] developed a robust and imperceptible watermarking method with a strong embedding capacity based on genetic algorithm. Arya et al [32] proposed a non-blind watermarking method, which embeds two binary watermark bits in LL2 and HH2 sub-bands, and hence obtains a good robustness against attacks like JPEG compression, filtering, and geometric distortions.…”
