Abstract: Triarylamines (TAA) have low ionization potentials and are commonly used as donor units in optoelectronic materials. On the other hand, photochromic dimethyldihydropyrene (DHP) can switch between a highly conjugated DHP form and a less conjugated cyclophanediene (CPD) form.
