A Dynamic Model of Procurement Risk Element Transmission in Construction Projects

Abstract: The cost of materials is the largest proportion of a construction project’s total budget. If the materials cannot be delivered to the construction site on time, completely and with acceptable quality, the project’s duration and cost will be greatly affected. Based on the generalized project risk element transmission theory and system dynamics, a system dynamics model was developed to capture dynamics of procurement risk elements transmission during construction projects and how various procurement risk element… Show more

“…Li (Li & Liang 2009) was also aware of the dynamic characteristics of the risk transfer process. Therefore, after putting forward the risk element transfer theory, combined with system dynamics, he successively put forward several risk transfer models of project management (Li et al 2012(Li et al , 2015a(Li et al , 2015b.…”

“…Construction. According to a series of studies of the carbon emission performance evaluation, the analysis of the actual development situation of China's new energy enterprises, the different division of labor workers of new energy enterprises, based on the previous scholars, experts, combined with the theory of stakeholders and the principle of indicator selection, the evaluation indicator system of carbon emission performance of new energy enterprises is determined [25][26][27][28][29][30][31][32].…”
