“…Indeed, several studies agree that mainstream media coverage of the indigenous movement in the protests was characterized by racist stereotypes and negative framing. These representations by setting-framing were dictated by the invisibilization and criminalization of the protesters (Santi 2020;Iza Salazar et al 2020).
