Abstract:There is emerging evidence to suggest that diet and dietary interventions can have an impact on heart failure (HF) outcomes. Currently, the restriction of salt intake is the only dietary advice that is consistently guideline-recommended for the management of HF despite conflicting evidence for its efficacy.
