A foresight-oriented service design approach to foster longer-term thinking and sustainable practices

Abstract: This paper explores how service design practitioners can incorporate foresight methods as a way to foster longer-term thinking and sustainable practices in design projects. Our findings highlight that service design agencies might not always be equipped to offer to their clients a structured integrated foresight and service design approach.
